Dude, you are not right. These are watermarks just like you said: "you put on the foreground and partially hides the content". These are hides the content, makes it less visible.

Edit: I added images to make myself clear: (Note: with right click and "Open image in new tab" you can see it in full size and check the details.)

Can you see now what am I talking about, dude?

If not, please check again the pictures I provided to you. Pay attention to the small details, eg:

  • you can see the Kards logo
    • through the diamond
    • over the monster's body and weapons
  • and you can see the stripes too in the body as well

So, what do you call this if it's not watermark? :D

My problem is: this is the paid version of PNP files and it seems to me the author does not trust other people or you can call it "design decision".

At least it could be useful to know this before buying.

There is no point arguing about design decisions. I edited my comment and deleted my rating.

Dear Eduardo,

I'm talking about 3 - Deck Edition 1 City/DoK-Print-And-Play-Edition-1.pdf page 1. That's not the background. The first four characters has Deck of Kards watermark as a background image... I can live with that but it's really disturbing at page 3 when the watermark is more visible than the items itself (sword or the diamond).page 3The main problem is on page 1 the other characters has the Deck of Kards watermark AND stripes as well. You can see both cases here:

page 1

Could you tell me why?

Thanks,

János

EDIT 1: The files has lot's of watermarks which turned out is "part of the design".
EDIT 2: left what you get with your money.

It's a big scam. Most of the cards has watermarks and some of them has DOUBLE of it!!!
I want my money back!
